The concept of Yin and Yang reminds us that all things co-exist and are inseparable, even those things that may appear to us as contradictory. Their energy works together, attracting and complementing each other, creating a whole larger than the two opposites. Everything is a balance between the two, such as when day slowly turns into night, and then night slowly turns back into day. Yin represents feminine energy: night, the moon, death, water, softness and spirit. Yang represents masculine energy: day, the sun, life, fire, hardness and form. The Yin Yang Collection malas are all made of dark and light contrasting stones, reminding us to seek balance in all situations life presents.
